Joe, Marian, Ned and Charles hike the Tirrell Pond Trail to Tirrell Pond, then the Northville Lake Placid Trail back out to Route 28/30--around Blue Mountain, point to point. It was beautiful, but the first 3 miles took 2 1/2 hours of breaking trail. The next 5.2 miles also took 2 1/5 hours-a snowshoer, and several skiers broke the trail for us--what a difference.
